The Healing of Intimate Partner Homicide Survivors
AZHSA Virtual Educational Forum
August 18, 2021 * 10:00AM - 11:30AM

Did you know that over 3,000 children per year in the United States lose a parent to intimate partner homicide? The Arizona Child and Adolescent Survivor Initiative (ACASI) provides statewide, trauma-informed, wraparound services to children and adolescents who have lost a parent to intimate partner homicide, and to their caregivers, regardless of when the homicide occurred. Families often feel overwhelmed and isolated after a homicide occurs. The ACASI team works with survivors and community partners to address needs and coordinate services. Come learn about their services and how to access when your families are in need. Cost is $25 per person.
