|The Head Start Director is responsible for managing the Head Start and Early Head Start (HS/EHS) program for the Havasupai Tribe. The Director must provide leadership in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating program standards and procedures, and achieve program objectives by leading staff, developing program strategies and plans, overseeing grant funds and budgets, setting and managing program performance measures, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
|Under direction, plan, coordinate, train, implement, monitor, evaluate and support the Head Start education services for Children in Yuma, La Paz and Mohave Counties.
|Under supervision, provide assistance to clients to overcome crisis and maintain self-sufficiency while displaying a positive and professional image of Head Start education services for Children in Yuma, La Paz and Mohave counties according to federal head Start Performance Standards and the programs early education policies and procedures.
|Under general supervision, develop and implement age and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities designed to promote the social competence, cognitive and language development, and physical growth of pre-school children.
